The first trailer for Paranormal Activity 2 hit the internet today, and if you are out watching Twilight Saga: Eclipse you will get to see it on the big screen. Now for some of you, this may have the hairs on the back of your neck standing, as for others, it may just be a huge tease and you could care less for it. Either way, Paramount did fork over the money to make this sequel, and why wouldn’t they when the first one only took $15,000 to make and made over $10o million in box office sales.

It looks like they’re sticking with the same formula, and the trailer reminds me of how they tried to sell the first movie. Which worked well for them apparently, but how well will this movie do? There’s speculation of what to expect from this film, but I think they should have changed it up a bit. As or a possible “spoiler alert” the girl shown in the trailer might be Katie from the first film, who mysteriously disappeared at the end, or it could be a new threat to the household.

One thing is for sure, the element of adding the baby and the dog in made me very much aware of how disturbing this could be when shown on the big screen. Check out the trailer below and let us know what you thought.
