Scott Pilgrim vs The World has only been in theaters for a little than week and even if the numbers in the box office aren’t so hot, the movie is still getting a lot of hype. Just a few days ago, the cast and crew hit up London’s Leicester Square for the UK primere. Many of the fans received autographs and photos from the stars, including Jason Schwartzman, who had more energy than his co-stars, who he hugged and posed with.

A little more than a week ago, a clip was released on the internet of an animation that was produced by Adult Swim. The clip, Scott Pilgrim vs The Animation, was look into Scott’s earlier life and we are introduced to one of the characters from the book. Fortunately Adult Swim posted the full short and now available for viewing here on Whargarbl TV.

To recap: in the second volume of the graphic series, we flashback to Scott’s early high school years where he meets Lisa Miller, who has a very short part in later books, and a Kim Pine, who would be his high school girlfriend and later become the drummer for his band, Sex Bob-Omb.

You can see Bryan Lee O’Malley’s art work in motion and just like in the movie, Michael Cera plays Scott and Allison Pill plays Kim. Two other actors, Jason Scwartzman and Mae Whitman play Simon Lee and Lisa.
