A Day To Remember releases details on new album

It's been a while since I've posted some music news but this one goes out to all the A Day To Remember fans out there. The band A Day To Remember was on a Ustream chat room last night with fans and they released details of their upcoming fourth album. The album will be called What Separates Me From You and will be released November 16, 2010 on the Victory Records label. Here's what bassist Joshua Woodard had to say about the album: " Anyone who’s ever listened to A Day To Remember knows we do wh...

VOTD: Pokémon Apokélypse: Live Action Trailer

Opening up the video with a very familiar catch phrase - "I want to be the best. Like no one ever was." I bring to you the video of the day! This isn't just a VOTD post it's also a trailer for the live action Pokémon Apokélypse movie. Based on the famous anime, it's a darker side of the Pokemon world. Ash, Misty and Brock are no longer kids running around trying to catch these creatures. Pokemon battles are now frowned upon and are now part of the underground society. No one is playing fr...

Ron Noyes Band: Dust Bowl Diary

It's time to take a break from reggae and change things up a little. This time I am thrilled to bring you my review of the fourth album by the Ron Nonyes Band: Dust Bowl Diary. For those that have never heard of the RNB, here's a little back history for ya: Formed in rural Concord, New Hampshire, the band fuses roots rock grooves and descriptive instrumentation with lyrics that “will freeze the blood in your veins” (Hawick News). The Ron Noyes Band grew into one of New England’s most acclaimed ...

Gelaskins are awesome

I know, Gelaskins sounds a little odd when said out loud, but when you get a chance to see the actual product you'll be saying "Gelaskins are awesome!" I was given a chance to check out the products from Gelaskin from the San Diego Comic Con 2010 in July. I've heard about the product before, but I never really put too much thought into it. However this year, I was given a chance to sample the product and actually get a closer look at the Gelaskins. You can find their products at http://www...

Fast Five Full Cast and Synopsis

We've written about the newest installment to The Fast and The Furious franchise. What we knew about it before was that it was to take place in Brazil, and that cast members from previous films were going to be part of this project. The timeline to some people is a bit fuzzy, but I believe it's still before Tokyo Drift and after 2 Fast 2 Furious and Fast and Furious (#4). This is simply because of Sung Kang's character Han who had a cameo in the beginning of Fast and Furious saying that he was ...

Tekken Movie Set for Wide Release

Yes, it's true. Yes, they made a movie. The film has been out for a while now, it just hasn't gotten so much buzz as a film worthy of seeing. I am a sucker for films like these and I must admit I did enjoy watching the first Street Fighter movie. Was it good? Not really, but it was entertaining. This goes for the Dead or Alive movie that came out a while back. I am getting that same feeling for this movie, Tekken. Will it be a good movie? Perhaps not, but I could find myself entertained by i...

Night Chronicles changes name for their 2nd film

M. Night Shyamalan, who has become arguably a director who just can't deliver, is backing up fundings for several movies under his production company The Night Chronicles. Hiring directors and screenwriters to give audiences who are fans of the supernatural genre a taste of what they have up their sleeves. The first title coming out of the company will be Devil, the title was changed from M. Night Shyamalan's Devil to just Devil, perhaps due to Shyamalans' declining popularity but more so that c...

Ryan Reynolds talks Deadpool

Mr. Reynolds has been a very busy guy in the film community lately. He's been on the rise as a huge commodity in movies, and don't get me wrong this guy is good at what he does. Just finishing up the wrap on The Green Lantern movie, he's ready to jump on more projects for the near future. One of which is Fox's semi-controversial Deadpool movie which had fans raged at the movies when they were given an unfamiliar face to a very loved character. In an interview with LA Times he confirms tha...

The Tourist Trailer

So lately we've been lacking on some film and television news. I apologize for that, but there has been a lot of movement in the film business lately and I will try to cover as much as we've missed out on lately, and continue to do so for your reading enjoyment. Here we have a trailer for The Tourist. Directed by Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck, starring Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp and co-starring Paul Bettany, Rufus Sewell and Timothy Dalton. The film takes on a sort of a spy thriller fi...

San Bruno, CA…Ways You Can Help

The video is silent but you get the picture. So, we usually keep things here at Whargarbl TV pretty light with the content with what we put up. We usually write on Entertainment, but this week I felt the need to get serious for a minute. According to Examiner.com, in San Bruno, CA last week, a major gas explosion left four people dead, 4 are still missing, while 60 others have been injured by the disaster. The devastation hits close to home because the area is my old stomping grounds and I f...
