Marvel Vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds Release Date

It seems that lately all we’ve been getting from Marvel and Capcom were just teasers for the anticipated game, Marvel Vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds. There were pictures of characters that have been added to the list of fighters, as well as teaser videos to see how these characters play. I still have Deadpool as one of my top favorites from that list, perhaps the addition of Zero from the Megaman series will be another to add on. It’s been teaser after teaser after teaser, and game demos at conventions to add on to the tease. However, Yesterday, it was announced that the game has finally gotten a release date.

Mark your calendars for February 15, 2011! That is the official release date for the game. The biggest collection of Marvel and Capcom superheroes coming together to battle it out. February 15 is the release date in the U.S. and will be available for the XBOX and PS3 consoles. This isn’t the only exciting thing to come out of this news tidbit. It’s also been announced that there will be a Special Edition package that will also be released with the game. Marvel fans rejoice because this looks like it’s definitely worth the pre-orders.  This special edition comes with asteelbook case featuring exclusive art work from production of the game, a 12-page comic book that introduces the story written by Frank Tieri, a month subscription to Marvel Digital Comics(Woot!) and two free playable DLC characters (Shuma Gorath and Jill Valentine) which will be available in early March 2011. All that for the very economically friendly price of $69.99!!

I can’t wait for this game to come out. I’ve been an MvC player since the first game release and this definitely amps up my excitement for the game. My suggestion is reserve early, because this is definitely a great deal for a low price.
