Hello fellow Whargarblers, Shifty here bringing you the Video of the Day. I would like to introduce you to a rising musician by the name of Kina Grannis. Kina is an American guitarist and singer-songwriter. She first was introduced during Super Bowl XLII for the Doritos – Crash the Super Bowl contest, which she won and received a record deal with Interscope Records. Since then, Kina has been posting her own videos on YouTube, gaining millions of viewers and becoming a well-known name. In February 2010, she independently released her debut album, Stairwells, which ranked #5 on Billboards Top 200. Stairwells can be found on iTunes for download. Kina held a contest on YouTube, “Co-Write with Kina”, where Kina would play out a tune and the fans would send in their lyrics for voting. She also had her fans vote for the title for song as well. In this video, Kina sings the finished song, “Someone Else’s Heart” with the winning lyrics. You can download the song for free here or scroll down and click on the link below.
