Trailer: True Grit (2010)

It seems that Jeff Bridges is back in demand, after winning the Oscar for Crazy Hearts, a well deserved win, he is on the top of everyone’s list once again. Reprising his role as Kevin Flynn in the Tron sequel this weekend, being the antagonist in Iron Man opposite Robert Downey, Jr. and picking up role after role.

His next movie comes out a week after his latest. As Tron: Legacy has just been released, a movie Bridges has a lead role in with Matt Damon, Josh Brolin and introducing Hailee Steinfeld. Synopsis: Fourteen-year-old Mattie Ross’s (Hailee Steinfeld) father has been shot in cold blood by the coward Tom Chaney (Josh Brolin), and she is determined to bring him to justice. Enlisting the help of a trigger-happy, drunken U.S. Marshal, Rooster Cogburn (Jeff Bridges), she sets out with him — over his objections — to hunt down Chaney. Her father’s blood demands that she pursue the criminal into Indian territory and find him before a Texas Ranger named LeBoeuf (Matt Damon) catches him and brings him back to Texas for the murder of another man.

The film is a remake of a 1969 Western film that starred John Wayne and Glen Campbell based on a novel with the same title written in 1968 by Charles Portis .
