Whoa man, it’s the Dude!  If you guys have not gotten enough Jeff Bridges ,star of the number one movie Tron: Legacy and the upcoming True Grit, he hosted SNL this past weekend. And in Christmas spirit he treated everybody to his rendition of the song “Silver Bells” in the monologue with a little help from Cookie Monster. Oh yes you read correctly, Cookie Monster from Sesame Street. Here’s a clip of the musical monologue below.

After almost a month long Facebook campaign, Cookie Monster made it onto the stage of Saturday Night Live. He did not host like he wanted but it did make for a memorable moment. It was a worthy try Cookie Monster. For those of you that do know, Cookie Monster made an audition tape with his own versions of SNL sketches that were innocently funny. It may just be me but I do not think he would have done any worse than some others that hosted in the past. Watch his audition footage and imagine the possibilities that could have been. Man I’m craving a cookie right now…
