The last time we spoke about the upcoming Mortal Kombat game was back in June and the articles posted by Midnyte and Nytrydr brought up the possibility of both a movie and a video game for the MK franchise. A trailer has already been released earlier in the year and now more surprises continue to come up as we get closer to the release date. This particular surprise was released earlier in the month. Some of you may have seen/heard this news already but for those that haven’t…..this is a big hint but the clip below shows a character from a popular Greek Mythology game and has released three games in this series. Check out this special trailer below:

Currently there is no set release date but the new Mortal Kombat game is expected to be released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in April 0f 2011.
