At the moment the band is on break from touring but they will be back on tour in 2011 starting February 9th at Slims in San Francisco, California. If you mis...

One of which is the return of Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. But no worries mate! We've got the trailer right here for you to view on Whargarbl TV. Midnyte Reviews: Tron: Legacy

This film is perhaps one that I've had the most anticipation for within the 2 years since it's been announced. The sequel that is 28 years in the making has finally arrived. One of the biggest concerns for the film that I had was that it may have been overhyped and will not meet the expectations people have for it. Could it perhaps be another step forward in the visuals for the film industry as the first one was? The trailers and featurettes make it seem like it will be. The story seems to b...

Midnyte Reviews: The Tourist

Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp in one movie. Is that enough to get those eye-candy seekers to the movies? I think so. Throw in Paul Bettany, Timothy Dalton, and an interesting plot in the Venice setting, then By George! You've got yourself a movie worth watching! The film revolves around Frank (Depp), an American tourist visiting Italy to mend a broken heart. Elise (Jolie) is an extraordinary woman who deliberately crosses his path. With inspector John Acheson (Bettany) on the lookout for ...

Zoolander 2…Oh Yeah…

It was nine years ago that a little movie called Zoolander came out and had people saying "Hansel is so hot right now" and "Am I on crazy pills?!". Well prepare yourselves because Zoolander 2 is coming! Yup, Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson are to reprise their roles as Derek Zoolander and Hansel in the sequel set for 2012 (MTV.com). In a press junket for How Do You Know, Owen Wilson talks with MTV News about the anticipated comedy. Just imagine...we can be witnessing Magnum in 3D! Sorry I...

The Fighter out this Friday

One movie I forgot to mention that is very much worth mentioning during the new releases for this week is the next Mark Wahlberg, Christian Bale film, The Fighter. It's been released in select theaters for about a week now, and will be going out nationwide this Friday December 17, 2010. I must say this week is giving us a great diverse choice of films. Making it hard for me to choose just one film to watch, it's a good thing that it's winter break and finals are over. Perhaps I will be watchi...

In Theaters: New Releases 12/17/10

This is probably the biggest week in movies I've been waiting for all this year. I know it's been 2 years hyped and perhaps over done, but from what I am seeing and hearing it doesn't look like it's going to be disappointing at all. This Friday, Ladies and Gents, TRON: Legacy is released into theaters. "Long time" as Jeff Bridges as Kevin Flynn says to his son Sam during the trailers. It's been a long time since the first Tron film was released. The surprisingly awesome movie that it was ...
