This past weekend, January 8th, 2011, one of our favorite independent musical artist, Kina Grannis, announced she was the winner to Sirius XM’s Coffee House Singer/Song Writer Discovery of the Year. Kina, along with five other artists, were nominated late last year as the top choices for Discovery of the Year. Users were provided with a link to polldaddy to vote for their favorite artists. By the end of voting, Kina had received 60% of the votes making her the winner of the contest. Check out our video congratulating Kina on her success.
