Bubble Ball Beats Angry Birds For #1

Robert Nay is from Spanish Forks, Utah. He invented a game just in a month not knowing how popular it would become. A friends’ father who also suggested a program to use to build it suggested the idea to him. Did I mention he is only 14 years old and only took a month to build it? I guess not, well now you know.

Robert Nay first designed his own website in the third grade, and is now in the eighth grade designing Iphone applications. His mother also helped him with the game by designing the levels, among other things such as feed, him clothe him, and shelter him etc.

The game is called “Bubble Ball” which is currently free and will stay free on the app store. The game, which Robert Nay describes it, is a physics-based puzzle game, which has multiple levels and challenges players to guide a bubble to its destination. Also the ITunes gives users a description saying “try this fun, new physics game, where you will test your ingenuity and thinking skills to get the bubble to the goal. … A great game to test your logical thinking skills, and to play whenever you’re bored.” The game has had more than 2 million downloads since its debut in December 29.

Nay plans on making add-ons for the game but will have to be purchased. I don’t see a problem with paid add-ons with a considerable price and plus he is going to put that money to good use as he will be saving up for college and grad school. He also plans on making another app with a hefty price of 99 cents a download.

A team of professionals in Helsinki developed the game “Angry Birds.” “Bubble Ball,” the game that knocked out Angry Birds, designed by Robert Nay was made using software called Corona SDK, Made by Ansca Mobile.
