I know everyone is itching for more news so I am back with THIS WEEK IN MOVIES! Are you guys tired of vampire movies? Well, suck it up (no pun intended…unless you liked it) because there is another movie in the making based on the novel called Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Oh yes, you read correctly. The famous president/vampire slayer ,”Honest Abe” , will be played by British actor Benjamin Walker while Wanted‘s Timur Bekmambetov will directing (www.reuters.com). I am actually looking forward to more developments on this film; the title alone has already caught my interest!
Keanu Reeves who also had his own experiences with vampires (Dracula 1992) has also been making a buzz with rumors of a Matrix 4 and 5. You may either be upset or jump for joy, but this story is a hoax. Jessica Zacholl, Warner Bros. spokeswoman, denounced the rumor to Wired.com by saying Reeves never made any appearances and the school he supposedly spoke at does not exist (Wired.com). Sorry guys it does not look like there will be any blue pills, red pills or any white rabbits to follow.
Let’s look at movies that are out right now with Boxoffice.com:

Keanu Reeves
1. No Strings Attached
2. The King’s Speech
3. The Green Hornet
4. True Grit (2010)
5. Black Swan
6. The Dilemma
7. The Fighter
8. Little Fockers
9. TRON: Legacy
10. Season of the Witch
If you are not in the mood for any of the movies up on the list you can catch up on some movies you might have missed. Out on DVD right now is Red which stars Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, Morgan Freeman, and John Malkovich. Here is a quick synopsis of the movie:

Frank (Willis) is a former black-ops CIA agent living a quiet life alone…until the day a hit squad shows up to kill him. With his identity compromised, Frank reassembles his old team- Joe (Freeman), Marvin (Malkovich) and Victoria (Mirren)- and sets out to prove that they still have a few tricks up their sleeves. Stand back and watch the bullets fly in this explosive action-comedy that critics call “a rip-roaring good time.” (www.red-themovie.com)
The Blu-ray Special Features according to, movies.yahoo.com, will have:
-Deleted and extended scenes
