Guitar Masters at the Opera House

Whargarbl TV has had the greatest honor of attending a special concert at the Napa Valley Opera House in the beautiful city of Napa, Ca on January 21, 2011. The venue, filled with locals and travelers, all of whom are fans, were far from disappointed as to what they heard. From foreign love songs to fast drumming and strumming to acoustic rock riffs, these three "Masters" did not fail to astonish and please their audience as they played a two-hour show with no intermission. AcousticFan, as w...

Cars 2 Trailer

I'll admit it, I'm a sucker or anything Pixar brings to the big screen. The next trailer is definitely one that I've been waiting a while for to see. Not the trailer, the film, and you can bet that I'll be in line the day that it is released. John Lasseter and company bring back Owen Wilson and Larry the Cable Guy as one of my favorite Pixar film roles in Cars 2. There's gonna be more than just cars in this movie, there are planes, motorcycles, explosions!!! Spies, and of course, more of ...

Will Smith to remake ‘Annie’ as a star vehicle for daughter Willow

News from Variety says that Sony and Will Smith are at work on a new version the classic musical film, Annie. While Will Smith helped develop the remake of The Karate Kid as a starring vehicle for his son Jaden Smith, it looks as if Annie will be developed the same way for his daughter Willow Smith. It looks like Jay-Z is in talks of creating the music for the film, but no word is out yet on if this is valid or not. Jay-Z was a big help with Willow's music career as he produced her hit single...

NBC Picks up a couple new shows

Robert Greenblatt has the title of Entertainment Chairman formed by the new merger of NBC/Universal and Comcast. Greenblatt was the person responsible for greenlighting projects for Showtime such as Weeds and Dexter. It looks like this may be a pretty good move between the mergers. He took no time getting the ball rolling with the decision to greenlight some new projects. One of which is a pilot for a one-hour musical drama called Smash, based on an idea by Steven Spielberg, who will be t...

Unknown Trailer

The title may be confusing, but when you hear the names attached to the movie you'll find you may want to get to know it a little better. Director Jaume Collet-Serra takes the helm and directs Liam Neeson, Diane Kruger, and January Jones in this dramatic thriller entitled Unknown. Liam Neeson's name alone just made me want to get up and watch the movie. The title intrigued my interest, because I really thought that no one knew what the title of the movie was, and when I realized that the ...

The Beaver Trailer

This next movie trailer is a bit hilarious in my mind. Not because of the title or because of the story plot. Well all right it may have something to do with the plot, but it's also the person starring in it. Mel Gibson stars in The Beaver. Why does this strike me as funny? Well the tagline for The Beaver is "He's here to help Walter out" and Walter is Mel Gibson's character who is a person who needs help getting back on track with life and get away from depression. Why is that not funny?...

Bubble Ball Beats Angry Birds For #1

Robert Nay is from Spanish Forks, Utah. He invented a game just in a month not knowing how popular it would become. A friends’ father who also suggested a program to use to build it suggested the idea to him. Did I mention he is only 14 years old and only took a month to build it? I guess not, well now you know. Robert Nay first designed his own website in the third grade, and is now in the eighth grade designing Iphone applications. His mother also helped him with the game by designing the...

Paul Trailer

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are a hilarious duo don't you think? Throw in Seth Rogen, Jason Bateman, Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, Jane Lynch, Sigourney Weaver, Joe Lo Truglio, David Koechner, Blythe Danner, John Carroll Lynch and toss them into a sci-fi comedy throw a few comic geek references in there as well. You will find yourself in a movie that is scripted by Pegg and Frost and directed by Greg Mottola titled Paul. Simple story, and you have to give it up for the Pegg and Frost duo. Their...
