Hey music fans if you haven’t been keeping up to date with the latest albums, here’s the current album releases for the week of Tuesday, February 22, 2011:
first album up is for the pop/soft rock fans out there. The artist Adele brings us her second album entitled “21″. Adele’s first album “19″, earned her two Grammy awards in 2009 and one of them was Best New Artist. Personally I’m looking forward to what’s coming from “21″. Anyway, Adele: 21 has a total of 11 tracks and is available on the Columbia label.
Next up….for those that like swing music and Jeff Beck, you’re going to be interested in this album. Jeff Beck has put together an album to honor the late Les Paul and that album is called Jeff Beck: Rock N’Roll Party (Honoring Les Paul). There’s a number of guests artists on this album including: Imelda May, Darrel Highham, Brian Setzer, and Trombone Shorty to name a few. Jeff Beck: Rock N’Roll party has a total of 20 tracks and is available on the Atco label. There’s a DVD available for this album as well.
The third album up is for the fans that like world/celtic/pop music. Celtic Thunder brings us their latest with the album entitled “Heritage”. Celtic Thunder: Heritage has a total of 13 tracks and is available on the Celtic Thunder LTD./Decca Label Group record label. There’s a also a DVD available as well.
For the hard-core metal fans out there, you might be interested in this album…….the band Devil Driver brings us their fifth album which is entitled “Beast”. Devil Driver: Beast has a total of 12 tracks and is available on the RoadRunner Records label.
Finally the long-time-running funk/soul/pop band Tower Of Power releases their “40th Anniversary” cd/dvd set. It comes with two cd’s and many bonus features on the dvd. Tower Of Power: 40th Anniversary is available on the Top Records label.
