Lily Collins
Hey, hey, hey it is another round of THIS WEEK IN MOVIES! Do you remember the story of Snow White? Of course you do, everyone knows the fairytale made famous by the Disney classic. I have previously written in an article that there were two Snow White movies in the making, and it seems like there have been some developments for both of them . For Relativity Media’s untitled version of Snow White project, they have been searching and finally found their princess. Playing Snow White is singer Phil Collins’ daughter, Lily, who was seen in 2009′sThe Blind Side (EW). She will star along side Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen, and Armie Hammer as Prince Andrew Alcott. Switching over to Universal’s, Snow White and the Huntsman, it seems like they have lost their huntsman.

Viggo Mortensen
Viggo Mortensen who was signed on to be in the film has pulled out of the film and is rumored to possibly starring as a villain in Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot (Access Hollywood). There is no news of any replacements but we will keep you posted for any more news. Both Snow Whites are scheduled to be released in 2012. Now from dwarves to hobbits, we have an update all the way from the shire.

Brett McKenzie
Peter Jackson’s prequel to the Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Hobbit has added another actor to their cast. Joining the film is Flight of the Conchords’ Brett McKenzie. McKenzie who was an extra in the first and third LOTR movies, will have a bigger part as an elf named Lindir of Rivendell (MTV). Just for fun you should check out Flight of the Conchords’ Frodo Don’t Wear the Ring song, it is pretty funny. There is so much “excellent” news that I cannot stop here! In a recent interview for his movie, Henry’s Crime, Keanu Reeves talked to MTV about the possibility for another Bill and Ted movie:
Another Bill and Ted would be pretty rad! It has been twenty years since the last Bill and Ted and it would be nice to see what became of the Wyld Stallyns. Again we will keep you posted for updates. But now lets go on to the weekly standings with Boxoffice.com:
