Mortal Kombat: Legacy Ep. 1 — AWESOME!

Do you guys remember the little Mortal Kombat preview that we had up a couple months back? We all thought it was a concept project for a new movie or something that might have been coming out for promoting the new Mortal Kombat video game. Well we thought wrong! I'll keep this very short and leave the rest of the video to show you some pretty awesome stuff. It seems that WB is getting their hands in a lot of pots right now, and I wouldn't blame them for having such successful projects as of l...

Midnyte Reviews: Your Highness

It seems that a lot of movie critics are just down right overly critical of movies as of late. Critics just chew a movie out right from the start, especially if it's not an award winning performance that could be seen at the Oscars or Academy Awards. Why not just go to the movies and have fun with what you're watching? Over-analyzing someone's performance, when you yourself have laughed at the jokes. I understand how critics work, especially when they go see a movie that's not in their genre of ...

Tron 3 plot revealed by Joseph Kosinski

Tron: Legacy wasn't the blockbuster hit that Disney expected it to be, but it certainly got enough attention to bring in good numbers that they couldn't overlook. The film budgeted at $170 million and made $400 million nationwide, these are numbers you just can't ignore. The film for the most part felt lacking a little something for most viewers, and it felt more like a "bridge" that we all had to cross over to get to a third film. With all the DvD extras and extra promotional material, incl...

‘Deadpool’ finds a director

The assumed dead project that Deadpool was, seems to be alive and well as FOX has found a director to take the helm. Last week during WonderCon, Ryan Reynolds stated that the project is still in the works, but there was a lot of pieces that is still unknown. One thing to knock off that list is now a director as visual effects artist Tim Miller. Some of you may be asking who this person is, Miller was one of the people responsible for the look of the X-Men and Daredevil movies. He also has fil...

THIS WEEK IN MOVIES!

Hey, hey, hey it is another round of THIS WEEK IN MOVIES! Do you remember the story of Snow White? Of course you do, everyone knows the fairytale made famous by the Disney classic. I have previously written in an article that there were two Snow White movies in the making, and it seems like there have been some developments for both of them . For Relativity Media's untitled version of Snow White project, they have been searching and finally found their princess. Playing Snow White is s...

WhargarblTV interviews Iration

Taking a break from the Wondercon articles to bring you this very much delayed interview. On March 12th, 2011 Shifty (Allen), WooBaru (Wes), and myself traveled to Santa Cruz, California to do an interview with the reggae/rock band Iration. They were scheduled to headline that evening at The Catalyst and were there with Through The Roots, and The Holdup. It was a blast and an honor for me to do this interview with Iration and here's how it took place: http://irationtheband.com/ ht...

“Breaking In” is an offbeat workplace comedy about a high-tech security firm that takes extreme – and often questionable – measures to sell its protection services. Created by Adam F. Goldberg and Seth Gordon, the series centers on a team of uniquely skilled oddball geniuses hand-picked to work for a manipulative mastermind. Contra Security, corporate America’s answer to “The A-Team,” gives clients a sense of security by first ripping it away. The firm is led by OZ (Christian Slat...

WonderCon 2011 in Downtown San Francisco brought a lot of talent out and this year they were bringing some of T.V.'s "A gamers." Human Target who stars Mark Valley and Jackie Earle Haley, based off of characters from the DC Graphic Novel with the same title, was one of them. There was a panel on Sunday that had a special treat for fans that attended as they delivered a special video presentation prepared exclusively for WonderCon, followed by the question and answer with the cast and crew. ...
