Dark Knight Rises adds cast member and Liam Neeson returns

Production on The Dark Knight Rises has already begun and most of the cast members names has been released. Well as of two days ago according to slashfilm, a new cast member has been added to the list and that person is Josh Stewart

Josh Stewart is most known for being in the movies: “Law Abiding Citizen”, “Curious Case Of Benjamin Button”, “The Collector”, and has made tv appearances on the series “No Ordinary Family” and “Criminal Minds” to name a couple.

Well now Josh Stewart has been cast in Chris Nolan’s third Batman movie, “The Dark Knight Rises. It is currently unknown what his role will be in the film but it is suspected that his part will be a minor one. The current cast list follows: Christian Bale-Batman/Bruce Wayne, Michael Caine-Alfred, Gary Oldman-James Gordon, Morgan Freeman-Lucius Fox, Tom Hardy-Bane, Anne Hathaway-Selina Kyle, Juno Temple-”street-smart Gotham girl”, Josh Pence-young Ra’s al Ghul, Joseph Gordon-Levitt-John Blake(a Gotham City beat cop), Marion Cotillard-Miranda Tate, Matthew Modine, Tom Conti, Joey King, Brett Cullen, Chris Ellis, Daniel Sunjata, Diego Klattenhoff, and Burn Gorman.

Some additional news and could possibly be a spoiler…..Liam Neeson who played Ra’s al Ghul in “Batman Begins” is returning to reprise his role in “The Dark Knight Rises”. Right now all that’s known is that Hitfix.com is reporting that Liam Neeson shot a scene with Chris Nolan on Monday June 13th, 2011 in London for the third Batman installment and Liam Neeson was dressed as Ra’s al Ghul. It is unknown if it’ll be a flashback scene or if Ra’s al Ghul will be currently alive and well. If more news becomes available on this topic, WhargarblTV will post the new updates.

Personally I’m interested in how this film will turn out and with all the villains that are in store for this film: Catwoman, Bane, and something involving Ra’s al Ghul…The Dark Knight Rises is bound to be full of surprises. “The Dark Knight Rises” will be in theaters on July 20th, 2012. Stay tuned to WhargarblTV for more “The Dark Knight Rises”  news and feel free to comment on this article.
